It's nice to see now a video of the approach. I was there about 2 weeks ago and I always say the LAN and Star Peru planes making there descend above the valley and mountains, and than always the sharp turn to the left to make the landing.
Whatever the wind is, they always land from this direction, taking off from the opposite of the runway.
I didn't made any landing there because I flew from CUZ to LIM.

Indeed,at CUZ rwy 28 is only for landings and rwy 10 is only for takeoffs.This because the position of the mountains and the airport in the valley.I did the trip 4 times so far and the next will be jan.2009.
Every time I enjoy this spectacular approach and I want a seat at the left side of the plane.
