virgin! - no not the airline.... me!

1st attempt last Sunday about 1:30pm, clear overhead, new Nikon D60, Tamron 300 without an adapter, just waiting for something to happen at Blackpool Airport.... Nothing did! So I looked above, what I thought at first was a Flyglobespan 767, turns out to be an Air Berlin 738, no reg since I was at the airport and my sbs1 was a few miles away. So should I be embarrassed or happy with the outcome? it was heading west towards IOM. I missed a clear shot at an AA 752 but I will return....
