Or, just a wild idea: use the location to build a low fare transit hotel with X stories to offer passengers more comfort while having to stay overnight. The floor space of this hotel does not exceed the current floor space so the operations do not have to be disturbed.
The advantages are huge: you can offer your transferpax more comfort while staying overnight, you have something to attract new carriers and keep current carriers, pax don't have to enter Belgium (so not in need of a visa) to have an hotel.
Ofcourse, these rooms won't be suites, but just small but comfortable rooms with a shower and toilet, genre Easy Hotel (see:
