I found a picture on A.net: picture
Is this possible that a B747 can land and take off at THF (I don't think so ) or is it just a mistake?
Kind regards
Bavo

This shot is for sure made at THF with the jumbo on very short finals.
Other large aircraft have been operating from THF in the past as well and they used to have two active runways of which one is closed now. Not sure which one is/was the longest though.
Don't forget this was the main airport for Berlin until Tegel was opened.
