747-8 Freighter program is going strong. This will be I believe the 5th customer for the freighter. Overall, a good day for Boeing getting good orders from a finance group, CO and Russian freighter carrier.

7th.
Atlas Air, Cargolux, Emirates, Guggenheim Aviation Partners, Nippon Cargo Airlines, Korean Air, and now, Air Bridge Cargo (Volga-Dnepr Group).

To date, 78 aircraft have been ordered, counting both Freighter and Passenger versions.

The schedule is as follows:

Launch - November 2005
Freighter firm configuration - October 2006
Intercontinental firm configuration - mid to late 2007
Freighter rollout - late 2008
First flight - fourth quarter 2008
Freighter certification and entry into service - late 2009
Intercontinental certification and entry into service - mid to late 2010
