Where will you fly to in 2007?

Post by OO-SBZ »

Further to the big hit of the ubiquitous Where wll you fly in 2006? why don't we launch a 2007 topic?

I have indeed just completed my first booking for 2007.
After flying Ryanair, SN Brussels, Vueling, defunct Air Wales, SkyEurope... I decided to give a try to... Brussels Airlines

The schedule was really convenient (Monday morning outbound flight and Friday evening inboud flight), the price really affordable (€ 85 return) and I was too eager to "try"

However I'll have to wait as long as April 2007

02/04/2007 - SN 3813 - BRU-LIS
06/04/2007 - SN 3820 - LIS-BRU

I am already looking forward to it

So far in 2007, my plans are for returning from Beirut after Xmas break:

ME BEY-CDG 332 C, AF CDG-BRU Thalys

And then escape from the cold to Dubai in February:

AZ BRU-MXP M82 Y, MXP-DXB 767 Y, DXB-MXP 767 Y, MXP-BRU M82 Y

Easter may see a hop to Beirut, or not. The rest of the year is to be defined.

Nothing confirmed yet but we expect it to be BHX-BRU-BHX.

That is assuming we get decent b-flex prices, as we don't want the tacky option. Otherwise we might fly with VLM.

I do really miss the point why you call b.light "tacky". This is indeed a pejorative word

As far as I know b.light & b.flex passengers will be in the very same plane but Brussels Airlines will charge for drinks and meals in b.light class.

I would rather say that b.light is for cost-conscious flyers whereas b.flex is for the comfort & service-conscious ones...

Ben
to fly b.light by Brussels Airlines but not tacky at all

Do you mean you rely on Ryanair for connecting flights? You should know they never guarantee connections!
