How do you buy your models, books, DVD/video's?

Post by westwings »

Hello all,

Just a question, how do you guys prefer to buy your aviation books, DVD's/video's, models, collectables, etc... In a book or hobby shop where can actually see what you're buying or do you order online at a web shop :?:

I'm just looking for some opinions on how you buy, NOT looking for addresses or links.
Regards,

mostly on the web, because of the larger offer. Unless i pay a visit to AMS, then i go to the luchtvaart hobbyshop of course!

95% from the web
- 15% Luchtvaart Hobby Shop has got a really reliable mail-order service but the prices tend to be high; E-bay too...
- 80% e-bay

5% from the high street shops.

Mostly simw.com... If the shop-manager is in a good day and wants to speak Dutch, otherwise I'm searching for another shop.

Hi guys,

I usually buy in Ebay if available, otherwise Simware Simulations shop at Brussels helps me even if the prices aren't so low.
