The Sabena power-eggs are coming...

After searching avsim, I realised that there wheren't any good Sabena 737's on there. So I decided to start painting them myself.
The first one I finished is OO-SYI a B737-529, construction Number 25419, delivered to Sabena on 27/11/1991 went to Ukraine International Airlines as N419CT on 25/10/2001 and is now flying for Aerosvit Airlines as UR-VVD.

I painted it in the ghost-colors of the mid-nineties, i hope you like it...

Since I had some time today I finished the -300:

I selected OO-SDV, Sabena's first 737-329, construction number 23771, delivered to Sabena on 25/08/1987, went to sobelair on 28/06/2002, as of 28/12/2002 it started flying for Mondair as CN-RDB and since 15/04/2004 it's flying as F-GUYH for aigle Azur.

P.S.: I fixed the tail I hope it's better now:

As an easter-egg I also painted a Sobelair B737-329, namely OO-SBZ, construction number 23775, delivered to Sobelair on 17/07/1987, transferred to Islandsflug on 29/04/2004 as TF-ELR, on 09/09/2004 it started flying as N775AA for AAES and at this moment it's cruising as D-ADII for DBA.

ps: the tail logo on the SYI seems a bit too large but maybe you fixed that in the meantime as i noticed a smaller size on the sobelair.

The tail logo has been fixed on the B735 too

The last 737 in the Sabena and Sobelair ghost colours I did is the -400.

For Sabena I chose OO-SYC, construction Number 25226, delivered to Sabena on 13/08/1991 and now flying as JA8933 with Japan Transocean Air since 20/09/2001.

For Sobelair I chose OO-SBM, construction Number 25729, delivered to sobelair on 14/02/1992, delivered to Islandsflug as TF-ELP on 29/04/2004 which immediately sub-leased it to Aviajet.

They are included with the FFX 737 base-packs, search avsim and flightsim for them. note that since it are basically FS2002 models the paint kit is only a blank bmp and no sofisticated psd

About 2 hours, depends on what you have to paint though. A very colorful plane with lot's a different graphics takes a whole lot longer than a eurowhite plane whit just the titles on it. And if you are doing a series of aircrafts like these 737's you can reuse the tail and engine textures since they are the same for all the models , so that saves time too ...
