Sn Brussels Airlines and Hellas Jet will start a codeshare starting from 8/11/2003. Hellas Jet will fly 2 times a day to BRU.

I just read it in Luchtzak's latest news, posted by Bart Himself!

Thanks anyway. Great news! We now have 4 airlines to ATH: TV, 4T, SN, OA.

Let the best win...

No Thanks!

More than 900 euro for a retour ticket! No Thanks... With Lufthansa or Swiss I book a trip to ATH for 350-400 euro.

More than €900: from where do you get this fare, Minos?

Didn't try a booking myself yet, but I know that T4 is certainly available for about €300 (also have to check it out again, but I remember it was something around this fare).

I just tried it and indeed, whatever you try, you get €906.

This is probably because the fares aren't loaded yet. I assume that €906 will be the full fare Y ticket. We will probably have to wait for the discount Y fares...

Yes Minos, 900 € seems a lot to me. I have spoken with SN Brussels Airlines spokesmen and he told that they had competitive prices.

I have found the old article, 15 days ago the luchtzak-community was allready informed about the codeshare-flights to Athens ;-)

I also tried the booking and the result is indeed 906€, I would also guess it would be the business class fares, otherwise nobody would fly with them.

Why on earth bother booking with SN if you fly another carrier anyway :?:
Because there are people in our country who know SNBA and not Hellas jet. And there are also belgians who would like to gain somme privilege points, and therefore travelling for business with SN instead of OA :!:

demol,

Why are you always contesting Belgian initiatives trying to keep Belgian aviation alive?

For sure, these initiatives should be financially sound, but I guess that the Dutch chairman of SN BA will not willfully torpedo his company.

Give them at least a chance...

Don't forget the Olympic Games in 2004 (Athens). A lot of people will book a flight to ATH!

demol: what SN needs now is support.

We will know within a few years what the impact of the decisions of SN management today will be. Until than, try to support them.

The fact that SN put's it's code on T4 flights wants to say that SN management assumes that there is a market for SN passengers (not enough to start flights on their own, but enough for a codeshare).

I think that the problem on the SNBA booking engine is solved, you can now buy your ticets for €225.

But the business traveller will get his ticket payed in business and will gain somme points. I think SNBA would like to attract first of all business pax.
