Curator to sell Sabena items
During the first week of May, Sabena House will host an exhibition of items reminding the big era of Sabena: posters, clocks, T-shirts, hats, dishes, and dozens of other souvenirs, all for sale. The Sabena canteen will reopen for that period.
Other more valuable items on exhibition will be auctioned a few days later, between 5 and 8 May: uniforms, paintings, etc.
The masterpiece of the exhibition, "The Bird in the Sky" by René Magritte, which has for a long time been the symbol of Sabena, is expected to fetch several million Euro.

Remember, you all who have tears in the eyes when the name Sabena is pronounced. It is on 5 and 6 May that the most valuable pieces of the Sabena art collection will be auctioned.
This includes René Magritte's "Bird in the Sky" that has been the long-lasting symbol of our defunct national airline and that I have taken as avatar.

Sabena: Razzia on thousands of items offered for sale
More than 3.000 persons visited the Sabena hangar at Brussels national airport Saturday, on the first day of exhibition of hundreds of thousands of various objects, gadgets, furniture, vehicles and art collection that belonged to the former national airline. Even more people are expected today (Sunday).
The sale was a real success, especially for watches, jewels, toys, leather, aircarft models, catering! Old posters that will be auctioned on 5 May also had a big success. The money thus obtained will reimburse creditors and former Sabena.

Re: TNT BOEING 737-300 passengers flights
Hi,
We do have many ad-hoc charters confirmed on the B737-300 of TNT Airways. There is a lot of availability but it will certainly fly thus...
