I have the same question. It was told the Red Devils livery was there to stay, but in a new design.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Red Devil AND Red Flames livery will remain but on another aircraft.
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
is OO-SFH being repainted in red devils livery?
Could make sense if they are going to use that aircraft to send them to Qatar (I don't think an A320 can cover the distance)

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I cannot confirm you that SFH will be painted in Red Devil/Red Flames even if indeed it would completely make sense.
However, an A320 can make a flight from Brussels to Doha although Red Devil will use the A330 to go and comeback to/from Qatar indeed.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Which one of will it be? I guess ex- OE-LDE, since most of the ex-OS A319s are already painted in LH livery and flying:
OE-LDA --> D-AIBK (LH Cityline - repainted and in service)
OE-LDB --> D-AIBL (LH Cityline - repainted and in service)
OE-LDC --> D-AIBM (LH Cityline - repainted and in service)
OE-LDD --> D-AIBN (LH Cityline - repainted, in service until 30.09., inactive since)
OE-LDE --> D-AIBO (LH Cityline - re-registered, apparently NOT re-painted, still in storage at BTS since January 2022)
OE-LDF --> D-AIBP (LH Cityline - repainted and in service)
OE-LDG --> D-AIBQ (LH Cityline - repainted and in service)
Why add another A319? I though SN wanted to transition its shorthaul fleet into all-A320?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
OO-SFH is back, does someone have a picture of the bird with its new paintjob?
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Finally, what an improvement to the hybrid Cathay, as if a new aircraft has just joined the fleet. Now to repaint the Eurowings aircraft A.S.A.P.. Thanks for the link lenain258

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Very interesting news coming shortly about short haul fleet soon. Can't say more as long as it's not public but stay tuneMatt wrote: ↑27 Oct 2022, 10:01Interesting read here:Vic Diesel wrote: ↑24 Oct 2022, 16:41Which one of will it be? Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Would be also good to hear something about long haul. But I think that this has to wait. Priority to establish again the business flights, feeder flights and after more long haul. At least this is what I thinkcrew1990 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2022, 15:52Very interesting news coming shortly about short haul fleet soon. Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Indeed, long haul expansion doesn't seem happening for this year. It seems that SN will more be into more business and feeding flight to fuel the hub.
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Do you mean the 4 medium-haul aircraft to be delivered in 2023?

No, I mean the type of aircraft to be delivered...
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
They should seriously consider the A220 as a replacement of the older A319.
Very comfortable aircraft to fly, very low noise inside and wide seats (2-3 seating is nice when you're flying as a couple).
Very powerful at take-off...
And fleet commonality with Swiss means shared maintenance costs...
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I absolutely agree. This would be a great plane on the tiny routes but with high revenue and as pure feeder flight.Duke wrote: ↑28 Oct 2022, 10:25They should seriously consider the A220 as a replacement of the older A319.
