It’s not the first time I have questions about the neutrality of this forum and website.
Quo vadis Luchtzak.be?
Did you check https://www.facebook.com/aviation24.belgium ?

It shows several pictures of striking Brussels Airlines staff:

And with regard to further news, a meeting has been arranged between the unions and management on Wednesday at 09:00.

Sorry if I cannot do more, but I am almost single-handedly handling all the news on this website, and I also have a life next to aviation24.be

I am out of here, goodbye!
To be honest, I was surprised too, and did not expect this from this forum, which until now I highly estimated.
This has changed now for me too...
I thought this forum provided broad and specialist news about aviation, now it seems that the goals of this site are much more limited...
Sad, very sad...

Duke

Lots of respect, André..
But I guess you're not the only person who is posting here...
The silence of other members, who are posting almost daily, is deafening...
And no, I'm not working in the aviation business at all...
I'm just an av geek, like many of the readers here.
Regards,

Duke

Sorry Andre, you posted 13 other articles today from which one was about a steam train!
Defending the indefensible proves there is more than what meets the eyes!
Goodbye!

Brussels Airlines is not the centre of the world and everything has already been written about this strike. I cannot help if other readers of this forum don't want to comment. I respect their right to keep silent about the strike.

And I move to other topics, like Qatar Airways' decision to take Airbus to court in London over the A350 paint issue. That is probably much more important today.

Waow that’s very respectful towards the crew community who are fighting for they rights! Or are you afraid to not get anymore an invitation from The head of communication of SN for all vip events of Brussels Airlines?
Anyway it’s time you are giving the chance to all crew members to come here and tell the truth!
Do you now about the intimidation they faced ?

Everybody is most welcome to join this forum and discuss.

Aviation24.be has written not less than 3 articles on the strike. (cfr. 15-16-17 December) plus up-to-date images of the situation at the airport on Monday morning.

For your information, Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws didn't dedicate a single article in their today's newspaper. And no, I don't think they were afraid of not getting invited for another SN VIP press event, as Aviation24.be is not afraid either.

Pardon me but... your "HLN" example is a bit naive to say the least. Let's rather say that SN's Internal Communication has done a good job to prevent any article to be published. We all know how it works if you want to be invited to all events, inaugural flights, propaganda workshops etc...
The "relationship" between SN and HLN is no big secret for years. And there are others multiple examples...
But on the other hand, "La Libre" devoted yesterday 2 full pages to explain how SN has acted to intimidate (illegally) the staff willing to strike. Some journalists still do a proper investigation job.

I'm sad to notice how Av24.be is benevolent to SN's management. Nothing to be proud of...

Strong accusations ....

I kindly ask you to reread the following articles (https://www.aviation24.be/?s=brussels+airlines ) where you can clearly read that Aviation24.be reproduced all statements of the unions, as well as all statements by the airline.

Nothing formal here, no accusation. This is called editorial slant. It's your choice and I respect it.
Just an ascertainment I seem to share with other people by the way.

Appart from that, AV24 is doing a great job. I know it isn't always easy, certainly in narrow minded Belgium.
