Re: Airbus A350 XWB news
Hello,
Airbus is said to be thinking about creating a cargo version of the A350. From my point of view it might be a good idea. The place is there, the autonomy too and the costs would be lower. When we see that Ethiopian or Virgin mainly use A350s for freight flights, it is a practical plane for freight (both companies have 787s but do not use them for freight so it is 'A350 has better performance)

Re: Airbus A350 XWB news
There is only 1 direct comparison for the A350 and that is the B777. But indeed there is some opportunity for Airbus to make its way into the civilian heavy freighter market. The B747 fleet is aging fast and production is stopped. So there will be a market opening up for them. Although I would rather see a new Special Freighter type with over-sized cargo capacity, but that is because of personal preference
