From June 1, the daily Air France flight between Paris CDG & Libreville (Gabon) will be operated by Airbus A340-300 from Air Belgium.

Thanks for sharing Boeing 767copilot! Thanks to this thriving community, Aviation24.be can stay up-to-date on all aviation matters
To avoid comments that the taxpayers' money is "invested" for just one airline, Cloquet ends with "...Nous avons des contacts prometteurs avec trois compagnies long courrier qui, si elles le décidaient, pourraient très rapidement opérer au départ de notre aéroport..."
a lot of wishful thinking in that sentence though.
Emirates could also come and use CRL as a hub to south america. I wonder why they didn't think about that

A lot of other airlines could easily come to CRL.

SN is actually a very good candidate.
yeah of course more will come, but stating 3 chineese airlines will start next week is very ... wishful thinking
(and not so great for AB)

Read the article before commenting...
SN a very good candidate? Come on...
Tomorrow will be finally the first flight of Air Belgium!
Just checked the Hong Kong airport site and it seems like their timetable isn't updated yet with the arrivals of Air Belgium.
It seems like Air Belgium will be using 2 diffirent Plaza lounges of HKA
The forward booking figure for the whole month of May (before they decided to cancel the flights/bookings due to the problem with Russian authorities) was: 60 passengers !!!
No wonders why they were not in a hurry to clear that hurdle...

AF 977 operated by KF was cancelled last night . ABA is still at Libreville.
With only one plane to operate to HKG, they have no alternative in case of problems with the ABB.
Tonights AF-977 from CDG Paris to LBV Libreville (ETD 22h30) is announced as cancelled on AF's website.
The very first revenue flight under their own label is not sold out at all, but the airline considers it a "technical flight" to check/validate all procedures, and to straighten out the last details.
