You mean the Flybe Q400 registered in the UK had a Belgian flag on it?
exactly André , if you look it up you'll see the European and Belgian flag on it
Of course it is. To the point that most countries most it compulsory. But not Belgium...
Size does matter... you gotta take it into consideration !b.lufthansa wrote: ↑12 Feb 2018, 16:26 One can discuss a lot about brands, we could have a look on Facebook and how many followers some airline have (only the ones that spring into my mind):
Qatar Airways: 13,000,000
Emirates: 9,000,000
British Airways: 3,000,000
Lufthansa: 3,400,000
Air France: 7,100,000
KLM: 12,400,000
easyJet: 1,500,000
Ryanair: 2,800,000
Qantas: 1,200,000
all in the millions, even lots of multi-millions
Eurowings: 664,000
Brussels Airlines: 324,000
that's just terrible low...
VLM Airlines: 6,600
Air Belgium: 3,900

The “operated by...” is a legal requirement.CTBke wrote: ↑12 Feb 2018, 13:51I hope so .. as it's on the Brussels Airlines registry .. at least on the inside it'll be shown on their safety cards.. but the outside needs that mentioning as wellDeltaWiskey wrote: ↑12 Feb 2018, 13:48I believe there will indeed be an ‘operated by brussels airlines’ title on door 1L, like the sunexpress a330.
it's from the LH Group, so technically it's LH's

Cheap excuse as their long haul fleet of 10 aircraft consists of 2 different types. Well... 'different' types...flightlover wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 08:28 The biggest hurdle has been taken, the replacement aircraft are about to start arriving. 1 a/c type and 1 engine type replacing a mixture of engine types and 2 a/c types. Spare parts will be more available due to less difference between them. The engineers will have less training requirements. So all-in-all much less hassle to get the right person, equipment and spare parts dispatched to an a/c that's AOG.
2 different ones -200 and 300 but 3 different engine types which makes it difficult to acquire spare parts.HQ_BRU_Lover wrote:Cheap excuse as their long haul fleet of 10 aircraft consists of 2 different types. Flight to Accra is well operated. Please try to avoid drawing such dramatic conclusions then.nordikcam wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 07:47 What a mess with SN's long haul fleet. A real demonstration of why it is not possible to fly on intercontinental flights when flying a lot! Terrific ! Today the winner is SN 278 LOME ACCRA that it's cancelled !
The new management has a Titan job to regularize all this!
I'm really sad for SN and I begin to think that Eurowings will be only a lesser evil...
nordikcam is right: today's SN1277 replaces SN277 that was cancelled yesterday.SN501 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 12:36Flight to Accra is well operated.
