Hello
Thx for the info and the shots guys.
It surprises me however that it still got Abelag as parking position as I undestood the taxiway leading up to it is only partly to be used due to works in progress?
Did anyone observe or heard (over ATC) the taxi routing this one has followed up to the stand (coming from the end of RWY25R and R taxiway to the Abelag apron from the West side, or the usual routing via the A-terminal West End and along the 600' stands?
Greets, Yannick

Hi,
Ok thx for the clear response Wapo84
So I'll guess not .. well doesn't matter anyway because can't make it tonight.
But that's one more reason not to show up anymore around Abelag untill the works have finished, in fact not to show up at BRU at all untill ALL works are finsihed because I'm feeling it's a messed up situation
Thx guys for the great info's lately

At the moment there are no works on the vicinity of abelag. R1 being restricted to 45m is permanent, has been like that for as long as I work on the tower...

The biggest aircraft I remember seeing on R1 is the Ukraine Govt IL62 with a wingspan of 43m.Atco EBBR wrote:R1 being restricted to 45m

I can do you one better than that: DHL A300 going to RWY 07L. Wingspan: 44,84m - no coincidence they choose 45m methinks...

Hi
Thanks for the clarifications all ,
I could see for myself today there where no works going on, but I was informed that some of the apron at Abelag was broken up, but apparantly already fixed
