On Sunday July 21 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. landings at Brussels Airport will be impossible due to the aircraft flypast participating in the show in honour of the national holiday and the coronation of King Filip. Based on the information available at this moment and the expected weather conditions there may be delays of a minimum of one hour. If the wind develops in an unfavourable direction, the delays may increase. The impact may also be felt in the other airport operations after 6 p.m.
On Tuesday July 16 between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. the same procedure will apply because that is when the rehearsals will take place for the show. The same scenario will apply on Thursday July 18 if a second rehearsal is needed.
Arriving passengers who would normally land at the aforementioned times, are requested to contact their airline for more information. People collecting passengers at the airport on one of these days are advised to check the Brussels Airport website (www.brusselsairport.be).
Impact on departing flights should be limited taking the current weather conditions into account.
