Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
I'm not convinced yet that this one will really go to SN until I hear SN's confirmation about a 9th aircraft. It wouldn't be the first 'strange' set up with a temporary aircraft registration that seems to indicate 'something' but eventually turns out to be nothing significant.

Guess Air Berlin... D-ALxx
Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
All their recent A330's have D-ABxx registrations, but the majority indeed have D-ALxx registrations.shockcooling wrote:Guess Air Berlin... D-ALxx
But what has Air Berlin to do with Lufthansa Technik (or is their A330 heavy maintenance outsourced to LH Technik)?

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
I flew out of BRU this evening and we departed in the direction of Leuven, so while taxying to the runway, I could see there was an A330 inside the hangar of B.air... I suppose it was their latest A330?

The last three are ex Kingfisher, they are rather new but I don't know in what shape they are...
There are also some ex Malaysian A333 but these are quiet old (same age as SN's A333 fleet) so I don't think (or I hope) that SN is interested in these birds...
