The Avro RJ100 aircraft are leased from different leasing companies, with contracts having different expiry dates.

i'm not so sure about that. All airplanes from my knowledge are leased from Trident Turboprop company. And A/C's are being redelivered to Falko (BAe)

And what's the reason for that? Difficult to believe they'll have a lack of capacity on their EU network this winter?

And I think OO-SSA and OO-SSB that got to SNN for re-painting more than a month ago have not been delivered yet. Anyone knows the cause of the delay?

the reason of the 737 is in line with the conversion of the 737 pilots to Airbus.

reason of SSA/SSB unknown..

Did they need a re-paint so fast? They are not that long in SN's fleet, are they?
And I hope it has nothing to do with painting the engines in the wrong color (OO-SSC comes to mind)?!

These are the 2 latest acquisitions; they come from Frontier but haven't joined the SN fleet yet.

That would be a nice AvGeeks trip : the last flight of an SN 737 !
But in any case, it's not for just now, it seems ...
Unless I am mistaken, OO-VEN is a 737-300 and OO-VET a 737-400 - both built in 1998.
IF IT AIN'T BOEING, I'M NOT GOING.

No idea whether this was mentioned before, but All SN markings on OO-VES are currently being stripped in Hangar 41.

Are there still 737's and/or RJ85's in fleet/operating as from today (yesterday)?
I checked flightstats and for tomorrow it seems only A320, A330, A319, RJ100 and Q400 are operating for SN. But I heard 1-2 RJ85's would stay as back-up? Which will stay and all the other 737's and RJ85's operated their last commercial flights for SN?

Last commercial RJ85 flight was over the weekend, but 1 plane will stay as a back up till next spring.
Last commercial 737 flight is planned for early December, if I listened well...
Then it's only the wetleased Q400, RJ1H and A32F, at least in Europe.
In the RDC there's still the 737 and even the BAe146 of course, operating for Korongo.
