And, according to Airfleets, SSA was delivered to BRU yesterday. Can anyone confirm?

No, I don't have any news :( .
It's been very quiet on this topic this month. I noticed SN got a third DASH-8 from flybe, which brings the total to 4, if I'm not mistaken. Most recent A319 acquisitions (SSA and SSB) haven't joined the fleet yet.

Anyone knows when we can expect something substantial?

On which routes are the dash8's used? My father, a regular traveller, has never had them with Brussels.

As from this winter season, the q400 will be pulled off most of the MAN/BHX flights which revert to RJ1H/A319; the plane will be used to serve TLS till summer season instead, when the route returns to RJ1H once again.

Today's press release (viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48220) announces the end of the B737 and the RJ85 at the beginning of the winter season.

OO-DJY was ferried to Southend 2 days ago "prior to return to lessor". Only 3 RJ85 left then.

I read this article on luchtvaartnieuws(in dutch) about standardisation of the fleet in the LH Group. They talk also about the CSeries (will it also be used by other carriers then Swiss?) and the A350 and B787 ( will they purchase these A/C?)

Your thoughts.

LH said they are highly interested in ordering the new 787-10 (that may be launched as early as this month) as replacement of a part of the Airbus A330-300 and/or Airbus A340-300 fleets.
But I believe they'll go for a mixed order of A350 versions and 787 versions (or possibly only the largest version), just like AF-KL did. Ordering from both Boeing and Airbus as a combined group of 5 airlines will indeed give them more power and better prices with both Boeing and Airbus (just like AF-KL want's to continue ordering from both Boeing and Airbus).

I wouldn't be suprised if the Cseries will be eventually the prefered regional aircraft of the whole LH Group, the A350 and 787 version the future long haul fleet (next to the A380 and B748i) and the A320neo family as the short/mid-haul aircraft. Seems quite logicall.
Does that mean that all 5 airlines will get all these types? No I believe LX and LH will have more A350 and SN and OS may have more 787's (only 787's) because these seems to be better sized. LH and LX may also have mixed fleet of A350 and 787, but only the future will tell. For SN and OS the A350-family seems to big and because of their small long haul fleet it doesn't make sense for them to have both families.

BTW, who said recently LH doesn't care about SN? Who said they would give them up? Just like it was said recently by someone, LH is not ready to take over the remaining shares of SN, but that doesn't mean they don't see SN as part of the group. LH is still integrating SN further into the group. When they place an order for (let's say the 787 or Cseries) that comprimises aircraft for SN, that would be a major statement. But ok, that may still be far away...
This weekend Lufthansa also confirmed they didn't decide yet if they'll take the 55% in 2013. But that that the things LH's CEO said about not taking over any new partners didn't refer to SN as SN is already part of the Group. The question if they'll take the remaining shares of SN in 2013 or in 2014 is a total different thing.

just don't expect LH to order and pay for SN planes untill they have the full 100%

...why I said: "But ok, that may still be far away..." ;)

Btw, LH said earlier this year they are not going to place any new orders until 2014. Except maybe for the 787-10 (and/or A350) to secure early delivery slots, well they didn't say that in public, but that's what the 'insiders' say.
AND when LH orders for exemple a certain amount of 787-10's and plans to place a certain amount of these in SN's fleet, LH will not have to pay for these aircraft until they own 100% of SN and they will not have to place these aircraft in SN's fleet until they own them 100% as the 787-10 will not come before 2017-2020. IF something goes seriously wrong and LH really doesn't want the remaining shares in SN, LH will probably easily find a solution to relocate the planned aircraft. Or they can lease the aircraft to SN for exemple.
But again, that's just theory, I don't expect LH to order a lot of aircraft in 2012-2013 and certainly not communicate that a certain amount of them may go to SN.
But IF they want to place a new long haul fleet order in 2012-2013 they probably will include SN in this as this increases the amount of ordered aircraft, making it cheaper for LH (as they'll get more price reductions, especially if they order the 787 for an airline that has flown A330 for so many years, that's exactly what Boeing wants).

The source of LH being interested in the 787-10? Two interesting quotes you can easily find on the internet:
“The next strategic fleet decision will be in the long-haul segment,”
By Nico Buchholz, executive vice-president of group fleet management.
And:
“It is correct that we think the aircraft [the 787-10] is very interesting and Boeing knows this,”
Or the source of LH saying they have not decided yet wether to take over SN in 2013 or not and that they are not included in the idea of "not taking over any new partners"?

Hi,
An avro pilot told me this.. ;)
But the truth is.. nobody knows.. normally the would have been phased out already ..
Guess the lease rates are so cheap that they need to fill the gap to the CS series..
but hey that's what I call very wishful thinking ...
