Air New Zealand has grounded its fleet of ATR 72 planes, after cracks were found around the cockpit windows of one aircraft.
The airline has 11 ATRs, which are used on regional services.
All the services they were scheduled to fly have been cancelled.
The planes are operated under the name of Air New Zealand subsidiary Mt Cook Airlines.
