Folks,
the An124 will return to Melsbroek on Januari 27 and 28.
Unable to update the Spotters DB il will inform U in this posting:
both occasions eta 1600 and etd 2000.

just checked the spotters DB., no details so far.

Yep i know, "the door has just been closed" to the Spotters DB, so no updating possible this evening.
I have edited my previous posting, so i kindly refer U2 the mail above yours.

there is another VDA AN124 parked on th emilitary apron today 1 february, but could not log it.

Today (01/02/04) I saw Volga Dnepr A124 @ BRU. The registration was RA-82078. It was parked on the military ramp.

I also saw the An 124-100 (RA-82078). Well euh, to be more specific and make some of you guys go " 8O ": I touched it 8)

Thanks guys. In the meantime, more An 124 pics have been added to Planepictures.net, made by Koen Ceulemans. Just look under his name, or under Brussels-National.

They're pretty impressive as well. We sure had some fun, even though it meant not so much sleep as I intened to have when I got into bed Saturday evening ;-)

Yup, it sure was...For a brief moment they even had to start up (some sort of) a APU in order to raise the nose landing gear. Quite nice, with the noise, jet exhaust etc...
