Hello

We had around 20 diversions from AMS. But sadly it were all regular BRU-carriers. ( VY,LY,AY,MA,OK,Easy etc)

I was at the airport to cover the inauguration. I will report later in a separate topic.

I saw beautiful pictures (from a fellow spotter) of a KLu DC10 tanker parked at the satellite.

Hello

This wasn''t an AMS diversion. Those KLu DC10 are based in EIN

I don't know more than what this picture shows.

The pax of most of the diverted flights could stay and wait on the aircraft. The diverted planes were staying on the ground for about 1,5 hour.

Unfortunately some of the KLM crew had expectedly ran out of hours and thus all pax had to deboard.

Some or all of them were then bussed to AMS.

I can only speculate that there may have been an indication of possible agression among the (frustrated?) pax of this affected KLM flight.

So then it was expectedly an EIN diversion.
