Coming from easyJet, currently the only A319 in SN's fleet with 2 doors above the wing. And hopefully no longer the easyJet seat density...
Last thing I heard easyJet config will stay, so the so-called plug will not be used!
A comment of being a safer aircraft: How can an aircraft with 4 overwing exits be safer than one with 2 overwing exits ? All aircrafts are certified for a number of passengers with x amount of emergency exits! Besides: did you ever try to crawl out of an overwing exit ? I think the doors at the front and the rear evacuate 10 times faster!

could the "M" be a sticker there because it is (until now) still G-EZEM ?
Now, that would be a good explanation, but unfortunately I am afraid it's just the usual livery fuck up which we have become accustomed to when it comes to our A319 fleet...
G-EZEI will become OO-SSV and already has the' 'V' on the nose as it should have.
G-EZEM will become OO-SSU, yet has 'M' on the nose, which is to be rectified prior to delivery.

If that is true, than it is really a bunch of unbelievable amateurs working at the 'livery department' of SN; how many mistakes did they produce in just one year or so ?? Time to speak to the HR people if you ask me ...

If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!
The only airframes high fare airlines can afford to "renew" its ageing fleet are second hand from a LCC on which they look down, says it all...
There was definitely another RJ85 that stopped flying over the past week or two. I think it is OO-DJL but not 100% certain.
Further there is talk of ending more (end of lease 737-RJ??) leasings after summer season 11 in order to finance the 6th A330-2 I guess. This was written in a newspaper last week.

Last week 'De Tijd' indeed reported that after summer '11 the leasings of 3 B737s would end and would not be renewed (in order to decrease capacity during winter). They also reported that starting from summer '12 these B737s might gradually be replaced by more A319/320s.

Any idea/guess which 737's will leave the fleet?
I guess VEK will be one of the 3 because that is the oldest A/C
