New Finnair livery

Post by sn26567 »

A.net just published a picture of an EMB170 with the new Finnair livery. Darker blue colour, simplified design.

It looks like it's a plane on short term lease or something... unfortunately, this is the new AY livery indeed. :(

Finnair said the cost of repainting its fleet and changing other aspects of its visual identity was about 10 million euros.

Hi Guys!

Okay I admit I know nothing of aircraft paints ( I'm from BCN hahaha ) ,
but to me it looks as AA hasn't a paint just a safety blank layer over their skin !
Almost naked so cheap ! But I really love it !!
Offcourse at this point of view you can say it's cheap, but hey what's cheap in aviation haha !!
But white will be the cheapest because a lot of the nowadays paints are white, and I hate white !!
To me the cheapest livery will be a big advertised livery !! Paid by the advertisor !!
So in this poiunt of view , why don't we see these so less nowadays ?
Can't think Germanwings,Ryanair paid a penny of the great Jaguar,beer,T-telecom,DB liveries ??
