Re: BRU 22/12/2010
Now about to land in BRU, it's F-OMRO. What was the reason of the diversion ? I believe the plane was already approaching BRU when it got diverted.continental060 wrote:Hello,

AH 2060 STA 12:50 from Algiers was also diverted, God knows where (and some Members of Luchtzak as well, I'm sure).

Re: BRU 22/12/2010
The thing I was surprised to see was the Hainan diverting to AMS, while not even 15min later, a Brussels Airlines A333 lands at BRU... Why do they exactly divert? Can the weather (fog I presume) change that quickly? Or is it just the pilots that don't feel confortable and decide to divert?... Who takes these decisions?
Re: BRU 22/12/2010
I'm also wondering this as Hainan Airlines often diverts with fog while most of all the other traffic doesn't have any problems.
Re: BRU 22/12/2010
Same here, my guess would be a "CAT limitation" for either crew or aircraft which prevents them from landing in CAT2/3 conditions...Sabena320 wrote:I'm also wondering this as Hainan Airlines often diverts with fog while most of all the other traffic doesn't have any problems.
