Established02, where did you take these takeoff pictures? I can't quite recognise the place...

Top floor of the parking building in front of the passenger terminal. Easy to access.

Not for 2 or 3 hours. I usualy park my car at the Front Park 1, it's clearly cheaper than the parking in front of the arrivals.
I also park my car close the " parking crew" (close to RWY07L treshold) and take the bus (free in the perimeter of the airport).
It can be interesting for some of yours ;)

Nice pics arianne & established02 !

Okayyy, I see. I've been there before, but I've never had the chance of spotting runway 02 takeoffs.

No need to park your car btw, it's directly linked to the passenger terminal where you find lots of trains and buses. I've never had a problem to reach all my favorite spotting areas around the airport by public transport. 127bis is quite close to the train station of Nossegem, Abelag and the Brussels Airlines parking can be reached with the loads of buses driving there (for free from or to the passenger terminal!), etc.

On the picture planes are taking off from RWY25R ;) You can see some aircrafts parked near the Lufthansa Technik warehouse (Korongo & Cargo B)

Oh, must be another parking then. I was talking about the roof of parking 3, which gives you a nice view on taxi & runway 02/20 movements.

Have a look at this Google Maps map: http://maps.google.be/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&h ... a7c85d1ef9

The spot I'm talking about is the green one. Is the red one then the parking you're talking about? Never knew you had such a nice view on runway 25R there. Always thought Abelag was the best place for that, although most planes are already pretty high in the sky at that point.

Yes, I was talking about the green one, Front Park 1 (the red one is Front Park 3 as you said). However it's not as easy as Abelag, because there are lot of pylons between the parking and RWY25R
