Probably just some kind of promotion for the codeshare's between SN and LH, the only way for SN pax to travel with the A380.

I was at the press conference. Nothing else than the A380 ("proud to welcome the LH A380 in the capital of Europe, glad to have the partner of Brussels Airlines fly the first A380 to Brussels", etc.).

By the way (but this is old news), Brussels Airlines will codeshare the LH A380 flights to JNB. Thus it will be possible to book A380 flights with SN.

Thnx for making this understandable for people that aren't into the avaiation language... a lot of people (inc me) don't understand this info, though it might be valuable.

But:

Sad to see upstairs is all F/C class, like Titanic !
Prefer AF A380 then , when I was searching CDG-LHR tickets I saw up and downstairs have a Y class !
( But was too late no A380 for me this year ! )
Let's hope on some diversions then .. but Tokyo/JNB is on BRU way to FRA I guess
