Bomb alarm early this morning at Charleroi - it seems the terminal was closed until 6 AM.
A bit late for the four or five Ryanair 0630 departures ....

Let me guess : a passenger who get up too late this morning, and wanted to put his flight on hold through a bomb alert. Wouldn't be surprised if he used his home telephone for it...

Thomas Cook has a special charter today (with one of their A320's): FQ9425, ETA 18h10 (probably some 45 minutes delayed): a charter flight coming from Abu Simpel / Aswan.

Probably the first time ever from there for THC?

28/03 14:45 ( LT) EBAW/ANR RWY 29 blocked for approx half an hour; small plane needs to be lifted from the rwy. No injuries 1 POB.

Edit: takes a bit longer to clear the rwy - estimated re-open at 16:15 (LT)
Final Edit : rwy re-opened around 16:00 (LT) - GA aircraft had made a belly landing - no details about callsign & A/C type available

Belgacontrol will be on strike tonight (Thursday 02 April) from 23h00 till 01h00.

Reason: unknown at this moment
(let me guess : their Maaltijdcheques / Cheques Repas must be increased from 6,75 euro into 7,25 euro?)
