Ryanair and Irish airport operator Air Rianta are once again disagreeing, this time over landing fees at Shannon. Ryanair pays no airport charges on the Shannon-Hahn route as part of an incentive arrangement that will expire in May. Aer Rianta offered to reduce landing fees by 60% this year, 40% next year and 20% in 2005. But Ryanair threatened to curtail its daily service between Shannon and Hahn as well as services from Shannon to Paris Beauvais and Brussels South-Charleroi. Meanwhile, Aer Rianta has started talks with another low-fare airline while Ryanair has started talks with Cork Airport.
