To be honest, a quite boring livery IMO
F-GCBK... So that means an ex Air France machine,
and not AirBridgeCargo like first said.
History of this 19-year-old B747-228F :
11/09/1988 First flight as N6055X
20/09/1988 Delivery to Air France Cargo as F-GCBK
25/05/2007 Stored at ORY
I still don't really understand why they acquire the
-200 version, as this version is prohibited to operate
at night from/to BRU. So they'll have to divert to an
other airfield like OST when a flight suffers a delay...
Regards, Robin Bamps.

The second and third plane to join the fleet will be ex-AirBridgeCargo aircraft.F-GCBK... So that means an ex Air France machine,

Availability and price. I don't think there are many (if any) on the market short-term, and if there are, they'll be very expensive.I still don't really understand why they acquire the

It seems that for once a Belgian airline got preferential treatment from the Belgian Aeronautics Administration: B Cargo got all its certificates even when they did not produce all the necessary documents. The head of the Directorate General for Air Transport, Jules Kneepkens, gave his green light on 28 September against the advice of his administration: the technical dossier was incomplete: no history of the maintenance of the plane and the engines, no certification flights in Belgium, no noise tests, etc.
The inauguration will nevertheless take place on 11 October and the first flight on 12 October to Libreville, Nairobi and Johannesburg.
