Went to Le Bourget yesterday. Weather was good, nut could have been better. Anyway, here is a quick impression of my view on Le Bourget 2007.
Only had time to edit 7 shots, have to study for an exam tomorrow.

RAAF A330 MRTT : EC-330
The Australian A330 is in the Static Park. The German A310MRTT is located at the other side of the runway, away from the crowd. The A310 BOOM (EC-HLA I belive) is parked inbetween the BizJets, also away from the crowd.

Just edited another shot during my break. Not many usable images of Militairy aircraft from yesterday, as we wer pretty far away from the runway. In the weekends you're much closer to the action.
Sorry for the bad quality, but like I said, pretty far away from the action, so full 500mm and serious crop of the image.

Andries,
I hope you can help me with this question:
I was wondering how far/close the distance is between the people and the action on the runway. I'll be sitting in the tribune on saturday and I want to know which lens I should use. Is a 55-200 better to be able to make 'wide' shots (A380,A340-600) or is it better with a 70-300 ? I don't want to change lenses all the time, but I still want to be able to catch the A380 completely, ie no cutoff tail or only closeups when it performs a low pass over the runway or touches down.
thanks a lot!
