Hello everybody,
On the 21th of July I was on the TUB 5774 flight from Araxos to Brussels via Athens. Our flight was delayed for six hours. They told us that the aircraft had a technical problem. Does anyone have more information??
Thanks and regards,
Star alliance.
(BTW Jetair sent us to a hotel where we could drink and eat something, thanks Jetair. )

Not only TUB, but all charters, at the heigth of the touristic season. When one problem occurs (either at the plane - e.g. technical - or at the airport - e.g. bad weather), there is no alternative but to wait that the problem is solved. No backup planes are available, and bringing the pax to an alternate airport is not a solution.sab319 wrote:according to our airport shuttle driver it's pretty common for TUB to have 6hour delays lately...
That means that problems are compounded and delays extended from one flight to the next until the end of the day.

I have it difficult to believe these people are a reliable source of information if it comes to this kind of info, as they never even come close to an aircraftsab319 wrote:according to our airport shuttle driver it's pretty common for TUB to have 6hour delays lately...

That's the first thing I hear about this then...sab319 wrote:according to our airport shuttle driver it's pretty common for TUB to have 6hour delays lately...
Not all charters have "big" problems. Its not because they are "charters" that this is always linked to problems. And the problems do not occur always in the high season...we got plenty of examples already in low season too...
