Hello,
message from LWD
BA5 burst his tire on take off.
Runway is closed for the moment.
Maybe BA7 is taking off to join the rest off the group
and day before BA6 had problems with the cockpit
but this is fixed already

BA nr 5
Indeed nr 5 of the Blue Angels had a damaged tire after take off. He made an arrested landing and the pilot was rushed in a car to the spare nr 7 (twoseater Hornet) to join the rest of the crew (who were still in-flight during the whole time) to restart the show again.

Yep idd!
Here you got a picture of it :
Sorry about the quality but the weather Gods weren't with me yesterday.
Bad weather really F*CKED UP about half of my pictures
Looks like the Blue Angels don't like their tires
This picture is NOT the touch down of Fat Albert. The actually used so many brakes the anti slip had to do its work very often.

Nice pics Airsmetten,
I have the same but earlyer on his departure run, already flat tire.
And me to, most of my pics look like s**t 'caus of the great weather. People who were there today had much more luck with the weather. And Fat Albert made a "JATO" take-off, they didn't do that yesterday. But we were witness of a "failure" moment, wich doesn't happen much with the BA.

No
I don't think anybody has pictures of that landing. It happened out of the view of the public.
We could follow it on the big TV screens but it was to far and behind a VIP tent or so to take any pictures of it.
Today my father said they flew a much better display then yesterday. No problems accured 8)
