Bravo Airlines to brussels?
Moderator: Latest news team
It's now official: Bravo Airlines starts commercial flights from Madrid, Paris and Brussels to Kinshasa on 1 May.
At this moment they have one B767-200. With this airplane they have done their first VIP flight to the airport of Kinshasa. After that they have a flight to Dakar and some technical flights.
In a short period a B757 will add the fleet, normally before 1 May.
For European routes they will use the B757 and B767. For the domestic routes in Africa they are going to use a DC9.
Their forecast: first flights to Europe before starting service to the Carabien.

Finally the confirmation:
Bravo Air Congo will start operations on 8 june 2006.
This airline will fly three times a week to Brussels with the B 767-200 and this on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. There is no intention to fly via MAD because the flight time is the real flight time between Kinshasa and Brussels.
Bravo Air Congo will fly from Kinshasa and Brazaville to Brussels.
Timetable:
Kinshasa - Brussels
FF 1142 22.30h - 07.30h (This flight starts at Brazaville via Kinshasa)
FF 1272 22.30h - 07.30h (This flight starts at Brazaville via Kinshasa)
FF 1412 22.30h - 09.10h
Brussels - Kinshasa:
FF 1411 12.30 - 20.25
FF 1151 23.15 - 06.15 (This flight is going further to Brazaville)
FF 1121 23.15 - 06.15 (This flight is going further to Brazaville)
There are three flights a week from Bru and CDG. There is only one flight from MAD.
Again good news for BRU

Hi Atlantis.
But there is one stop if you take off at 22H30 and you arrive at7H30 it's 9 Hours.
The flight to Kin is 7H30.Also it's impossible to fly 3 times to BRU and CDG.
If you look at the timetable they arrive in the morning and go back in the late evening it's not possible with one plane.
Regards
Patrice

Hasta la victoria siempre.
Hi Patrice,
You are right, but only for the flight on Monday. The flight from Kinshasa to BRU will go via CDG. This is the only flight. The return flight, around noon, will go direct, like all other flights.
The timetable for CDG is different then BRU. It's a busy schedule with one single aircraft. But the second B767 is on it's way to add the fleet.

I would be curious to see the BZV-FIH-(BRU) scheduleFF 1142 22.30h - 07.30h (This flight starts at Brazaville via Kinshasa)
Probably something like...
BZV-FIH 22:30-22:45
FIH-BRU 00:30-07:30
How much of a hassle is it to reach FIH from BZV on the ground?
Did any Sabena flight connect BZV with FIH or was is rather BRU-BZV-LUA or BRU-BZV-JNB?
One day I should read something to understand why there is Republic of Congo (BZV) and a Democratic republic of Congo (FIH). Can we expect something like a "Wiedervereinigung" between both Congo's?
HI established.
Kinshasa and Brazaville are the 2 capital that are the most near to each other.
It's lese than 1KM to go from KIN to Brazaville.
But the Congo river is there and you have no bridges but a small boat that makes the rotation between the 2 city's in 45 minutes.
And yes SABENA use to fly BRU BZV FIH even BRU kano BZV FIH with there DC 10 in the 80s.
Those flight's where VERY long.
