That's a bit surprising
Yesterday I just read they have a sudden drop of -70% in traffic to Russia

This article mentions they might drop Krasnodar

The press reports an explosion onboard a Pegasus 737, parked at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at Istanbul.

One fatality and one injured (apparently cleaners).

The explosion might have been on the apron, because five planes were damaged due to the impact of shrapnel, including that of Pegasus which suffered the heaviest damage. The cleaner that was killed was working on that plane.

The airport's owner, Malaysia Airports, referred to more than one explosion "at the tarmac area".

No passengers were in the area at the time of the airport blast.

Something from 2015, Pegasus renamed Pegasus Asia as Air Manas which was the original name of that airline.

Latest news entire Pegasus fleet is up for lease, including A320neo.

Globetrotter, May I correct you please?

Pegasus will only wet lease 3 planes. The reason they have listed their fleet to show to public what they have in their fleet. They want to wet lease 3 (B738 or A320).

Meanwhile, they have retrenched several people. 68 Ground service, 186 cabin crew and 30 technicians lost their jobs during the recent restructure. Allegedly more people will be retrenched but this time from Administration.

Today's published figures show that PGS has passed the 18 million pax mark. They are ok in domestic market but slowed down on international pax.

It is not all doom thing. I think it is just reaction to the slowing income.
Thanks.

What a contrast with Turkish Airlines...!

Pegasus Airlines reports 2016 passenger numbers up 8.1% to 24.1 million, with load factor of 78.6% despite the increase in capacity and shrinkage in demand. Carrier increased its fleet size by 22.4% to 82 aircraft in 2016.

I know thanks, I used them a lot, I wrote BRU as it's Brussels-Charleroi on their website, I was tired, it changes nothing to my question so can someone still answer my question instead of impolitely correcting me? Thanks
