Re: EINDHOVEN: SolidAir declared bankrupt as of this Friday.
Bankrupt after some weeks! No procedure for protection , no negociations, just unplugged.
This is a clear sign that this company was rotten to the bone.

Not as solid as the name of the airline did imply... Unless they meant solidarity? In that case, they should not count too much on the solidarity of other airlines!regi wrote:This is a clear sign that this company was rotten to the bone.

Surprise : the liquidator has managed to get the company back on track: "in collaboration with a Belgian aviation company", a Dutch aviation news site reports:

Vizionair perhaps? altough it would surprise me an airline yet to start ops already collaborating with a company in hands of a liquidator

Sorry if i'm fare away from the subject but the name recall me a story happened 10 years ago in Luxembourg.
Solid'air or Solidair was an airline that never toke off (but investors money did...). Project was a direct flight to New York with a leased A310-300 from Lufthansa.
The legal case was only solved this year.
