3 done so far. Let me know if you have spotted a difference... (There actually is, but has nothing to do with EW... )sn26567 wrote:Painting in Eurowings colours?RTM wrote:Paint job. Third one allready this winter... More to follow...
The satelite and old removed terminal pier. But it should move back to H41 as soon as place is available, either when the apron works are finished, or there is place inside.Yuqu12 wrote:
Where exactly are the 300 positions? Is that near the Sattelite building or more towards the LH-Hangar?

Repainted with an additional "Lufthansa Group" title at the back of the fuselage (like the repainted OS aircraft)RTM wrote:3 done so far. Let me know if you have spotted a difference... (There actually is, but has nothing to do with EW... )

Nah...Airbus A330 wrote:Repainted with an additional "Lufthansa Group" title at the back of the fuselage (like the repainted OS aircraft)
There was an alteration in the livery that started when the TCQ was introduced. Every A/C (A32F only) (re)painted since has gotten the new livery. Exept of coarse SNA, SNB, SNC and SSC...
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
No idea if it can even be considered a change or whether there's a technical reason for it, but I have noticed that not all the horizontal tail sections on B.air Airbus planes look the same: some are blue, others are white. Some also have a gray area around the zone where they join up with the fuselage, others don't.
Is this is, or is there a good reason for these variations?
Thank you.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Yes, that's it. It is a changed Airbus requirement which was implemented. Though only top surface is mandatory, bottom surface was included in the change. Exept tot the 3 logo jets, they only have a light grey top surface. SSC was white/grey anyway.
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Could someone please post pictures to show the changes? A picture is worth 1000 words!

Post repaint:
Oddly enough, SSP went the other way... It had white horizontals when it joined SN, either by mistake or as a test (don't know), but got the all blue tail when it was repainted. (Prior to Airbus changing its requirements)

Heavy checks and painting will be done in Malta, then by Mid of Jan '17, she will fly to Hahn for cabin outfitting. If all goes to plan, she will be ready for ops by end of Feb.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
@all-those-people-who-think-that-people-will-just-fly-with-your-airline-as-long-as-you-add-routes: don't forget that Brussels was badly hit this year and that business still remains tough. Also SN will likely not make a profit this year. In 2018 the current A330s will start getting replaced, I don't know if makes a lot of sense to add another A330 when new ones will arrive shortly after, maybe it is better just to wait one year? Before we speculate, maybe we should just wait for the announcement about the take over? I hope that will bring some clarification.

Brussels Airlines' communication department told www.luchtzak.be this evening that a decision on the future wetleases has not been taken yet. As soon as an agreement has been reached, a press release will be issued.Bapt' wrote:Cityjet is now seeking for pilots to fly the SSJs wich will be leased by Brussels Airlines, due to the retirement of the Avros
