747 erf for TNT ( based in Liege )

Parcel - and mail carrier TNT Express will lease two boeings 747-400ERF's of the American leasecompany Guggenheim Aviation partners. The 2 Jumbo`s will be leased for an period of 10 years. The 747 will be used on the liege - shang hai route.

Again :?: A few years ago they also had a 747 in there fleet and it was even on the Belgian register as OO-TJA but that didn't last for very long. I hope they have more success this time :D

Would be nice to have some 747's back in Belgian Civile register.

And the colours are very nice on the jumbo

smal question,

how are they serving the USA out of Liege ?

is it still going with icelandair via iceland with a smal B752 ??

It's possible the 2 B744ERF for TNT will actually be operated by Bluebird Cargo and registered in Iceland, another great scheme though....

Justplanes news just reported that TNT will start a x4 weekly cargo service to Shanghai(PVG), after the second plane will be deliverd the frequency will increase to x9 weekly flights.
