Post by DannyVDB »

This message was posted on the SNBA website:

As from 7 December 2003 SN Brussels Airlines will insure one regular flight per week between Brussels and Mombasa, the second largest town in Kenya. At the same time, the tour operator Jet Air concluded a contract that allows its clients to travel on board of the comfortable Airbus A330-300 from SN Brussels Airlines.

On 7 December 2003 SN Brussels Airlines will be the first airline to offer to its clients regular flights to Mombasa. As from 7 December 2003, SN Brussels Airlines will offer one return flight per week between Brussels and Mombasa.

The passengers will travel on board of a modern and comfortable Airbus A330-300, that offers a 83 cm leg space in economy class and a 1m 53 cm space in business class. All clients will be able to enjoy all the facilities offered by a full-service airline such as free meals, drinks, films, music. In addition, attractive prices will be offered to this leisure destination.

During the winter season 2003 (from 26 October until 27 March) the flights will be operated on following hours (local time) :

MBA = Mombasa /NBO =Nairobi / BRU = Brussels

Schedules offering easy safary-beach combinations

SN 477 BRU 10:10 MBA 20:45

MBA 21:40 NBO 22:45

NBO 23:50 BRU 06:10

During the summer season 2004 the flights will be operated as follows ( local time) :

SN 479 BRU 10:20 NBO 19:50

NBO 20:55 MBA 22:00

MBA 22:50 BRU 06:30

Thanks to a earlier agreement with SN Brussels Airlines, the tour operator Jet Air will offer places to its clients on the flights from 7 December 2003 until 31 October 2003. Mombasa, a highly praised destination by sun, nature and culture lovers is the oldest and the second largest town in Kenya. This important gate to the sea for East-Africa offers impressive uninterrupted coral reefs over a length of 480 km as well as wonderful beaches and a very large variety of birds in the Mangrove woods.

They seem to be sure of this destination: it's not only for the winter season, but also for the summer season. It is a good thing that they've made an agreement with Jetair :D
