Hello
The spottersdatabase from August mentions yet for about a week that there would be a IL 96-300 coming to BRU on Wed. 29.08.2007.
ETA 09:45LT
ETD 11:10LT
from/to Moscow Schermentievo (SVO).
Is this a normal (update) on the Aeroflot rout to Moscow (normal evening flight ARR 22:35, DEP 23:55)? And has this anything to do with the 'Max Airshow 2007' at Moscow Ramenskoye Airforce Base?
The reason I would like to know this is to know wetter it is a 'normal' pax flight and not a governmental or other flight. Just to know if it would land RWY 25L / RWY 25R.
Best regards: Yannick

When I visited the airport in November 2006 the guide said the same thing : flights to Pier A are landing on 25R and flights landing on 25L are going to Pier B.
But in practice it's never so ??? (as far I remember)
The main runway for landing is 25L for aircrafts to the B pier and also for those to the southernside of the A pier. Aircrafts for the northernside of A pier and cargo usually land on 25R because the way to gates/stands is shorter from there.spotter1102 wrote:When I visited the airport in November 2006 the guide said the same thing : flights to Pier A are landing on 25R and flights landing on 25L are going to Pier B.

I must say that deviations occur!
Best Regards Raymond
Yes I know that's the case most of the timeSilverJET wrote:The main runway for landing is 25L for aircrafts to the B pier and also for those to the southernside of the A pier. How it works:
During departure periode and outside sim dep app the main rwy for landing is 25L with westerly wind, except when the rwy is not available due to circumstances. Pilots can request 25R for landing (cargo's, GA, militaries) but this requested can be refused. Durig simultaneous dependent approaches both rwy's can be allocated.

VT-JEC was also present on 27 and 28/07.NLmember wrote:Thanks Rutger,
Seems like Jet Airways is only using VT-JEA and VT-JED to BRU, any reason for this.

But indeed JEA and JED are the ones I see the most. I think it has something to do with which plane is available at BOM to do the flight to EWR via BRU. I'm sure JEB and JEC (and maybe some others in the future) will also be used for this route. You'll get enough changes to see them!

That must have been Air Transat A310, C-GLAT. It took off on the 02 around 11:10hfokker_f27 wrote:I just saw an A310 flying over (departing), looked like an Air Transat bird, but I couldn't spot any titles. Flew over Zemst at 11:12. Any idea what this may be, I couldn't see anything in the db.
