Hi everyone.

I had allmost no classes today and the weather was beautiful. On top of that, there were some nice movements this afternoon. So I decided to go to the airport.

Because I am currently limited to using a Canon 35-80 lens, I could only take "side shots". Here they are :

9G-MKQ slamming down on runway 26 ...

SU-GAS, the only -600 of Egypt Air Cargo.

OO-TCK, which came in 25 minutes earlier than planned.

TC-IEG arriving from Luik on its way to Bodrum !

ZS-OSI on final approach to RWY 26.

Today I was in Oostende
and saw around 11.30 an C130 landing (for OST)
and around 12:00 o' clock was landing an plane too but didn't saw him verry wel -> no colors

does anyone know the reg. ?

Great shots!

Please tell me how you avoided the heat-haze... All I got this afternoon were these type of shots! Wobbly everywhere!

It was Futura EC-GNZ

All this trouble makes me long for EBBR - 25L again...

Shoot early in the day, or when the sun isn't shining

My shots of OST today all have the same problem, and when using big zoom, the haze is more visible

indeed , try to get as close as possible to the aircrafts ,

than the heat haze will not that mutch .

I saw a sign at the beginning of the Legeweg, saying there were roadworks ahead... didn't wanna drive my car down that road and get jammed... but judging Andries' and Pietn's pictures, I should proceed down that path...

I see today as a valuable lesson... so many more to go...

looks like I wasn't the only one who noticed the beautiful weather and took profit of it to go shoot some pics.

I like the smoking tires on your MK Jumbo Andries, unfortunately I couldn't stay for the Inter Airlines plane

, but there will come a next opertunity.

I'd like to post one more: EC-GNZ Futura International Airways

@ Omag: the works on the road are just a temporarely roundabout. Not much of a problem. You just need to get rid of your car if you stand there. But if you are on the road with your bike(like me), things can be a lot easier
