Has somebody more details concerning the incorrect de-icing of a Brussels Airlines airplane in Rome the previous week? Apparently a serious part of the wing profile was still covered with snow after de-icing and fortunately a cabin crew member detected this dangerous situation minutes before take-off.

Royal Jordanian Airlines will suspend its route between Amman and Brussels. They will also decrease frequencies to Amsterdam.

Don't know if it has been already mentioned, but Air Vallée will start on 9 May a direct flight to Parma.

Yesterday I've heard that last week two Russian cargo planes (probably Antonovs) visited Antwerp with a "special load".
Could somebody provide me the regs and/or destination of those planes that visited ANR?

Indeed, mixed up BA with SN.

I have no clue why JAF opted to start this route. Nevertheless this is the second domestic route that JAF started in France after Brest - Toulon (but that had something to do with military traffic?).

I heard today that SN has a codeshare agreement with United Airlines for their flight to JFK. Primarily they want to target Jet Airways on this route. This person also told me that SN is targetting SFO as their second US-destination.

I don't know if this is an answer to Your question but I have just booked my tickets to the USA with AA for next summer. They are significantly cheaper then all other US carriers ex-Bru (i.e. 700€ instead of +1000€). Ex-AMs and ex-Dus are also more expensive. Flights are loaded with 757 for all legs...
