Re: Colombia: crash LAMIA Bolivia LMI-2933 Avro RJ-85 near Medellin - 77 people onboard - 6 survivors
After listening to the audio... I just have to say that I have the greatest respect for the way the controller handled the situation. I just wonder why the control tower let them wait. If there is already another plane that has started its landing, let it make a go around so they could land. But th...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
OO-SSC is stored till March 17. Where? It means that SN doesn't have any aircraft flying in Star Alliance colours these days: is that allowed? It is stored here in Brussels , it is standing here at the 300 positions. Where exactly are the 300 positions? Is that near the Sattelite building or more t...

Re: Air Berlin in deal talks with TUI and Etihad
Air Berlin is seeking a cash injection from investor and part-owner Etihad as the Gulf carrier draws up plans to buy a stake in NIKI (Austria), which is being spun off and merged with TUIfly (Germany). Do you still follow? Just for my interest: huw much % of the shares of NIKI is still owned by mis...

Re: BRU infrastructure: future
Hello! :) I don't know how concrete are the images of the master plan at this stage but it seems that the Lufthansa Technik hangar would be demolished for a "monobloc" cargo area (current BRUcargo on West side) & the new DHL building(s) (on East side) :?: The DHL building is build, no...

Re: Alitalia near bankruptcy, to be saved by Etihad
Strange that things are getting worse there. Not good ofcourse, Alitalia is a nice company and it is sad that the Italian government is (slowly) destroying Alitalia. I'm however convinced that the chairmans at Alitalia are smarter: Luca di Montezemolo was able to save Ferrari from the bankruptcy so ...

Re: Ryanair flight from Brussels to Malta diverts to Pisa after passenger fight
I flew only 4 times, and I had once a passenger who needed to go to the toilet while landing, but that's it. I am pretty sure that this happens not so much. But it is perhaps quite easy to say again that is is again with Ryanair. It can happen on every flight of every company and luckily it doesn't ...

Re: Any chance for a321 for Brussels Airlines?
Yes, it's true. Originally, the first A321 was to join during SU17, but this was pushed back until WI17 (replacing the last RJ). Then a further 3 will join during SU18 (replacing 3 A319's). Where could those 4 aircrafts come from ? Which company ? Thx ! I wouldn't be suprised if they come from LH. ...
