Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
It's a positive news, though I hope the OO-SFP cabin will be updated before it joins again the fleet. Hard product consistency is of utmost importance nowadays. Unfortunately no, there will be some light appearance modifications as change of carpet, seat cover etc to fit the SN colour. But a full r...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2023
Is the A350 not considered? On the long term 787, A350 and A330neo are considered. But on short mid term, as long as there iare A330 available within the group, there is no need to go for another aircraft type. Lufthansa is geting rid of their A330, it I'm pretty sure they will go to SN and E...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2023
Air France and Lufthansa have a much bigger fleet than SN giving them much more flexibility, do you really think that with only 9 aircraft we will use one of them for a rotation of more than 30h, more than half of it on the ground in LAD not making any revenue? It woud simply be loss making. I know...

Re: Air Belgium in 2023
It's a pity: planning a trip to ZA, I was seriously considering KF as they would have offered convenient non-stop flights to both CPT and JNB. But now I am reconsidering as it seems to risky to book with an airline that could possibly cancel more flights and ruin the trip. So let's see what "g...

Re: Air Belgium in 2023
Frequencies have temporarily further reduced in May and June. Cape Town is axed for 4 weeks and Johannesburg and Mauritius reduced to one weekly rotation. It's a pity: planning a trip to ZA, I was seriously considering KF as they would have offered convenient non-stop flights to both CPT and JNB. B...

Perfect. It fully represents the cacophony that is Belgium. your box is ticked here buddy    Off topic and borderline politics, but can I ask on what you base your opinion? I’ve worked and lived in 5 different countries and I can assure you: if you consider everything Belgium isn’t t...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
An airport isn't just an office building. It shouldn't be just 'functional'. It's a gateway to a country. It represents a country in a way. It is the first impression international visitors get Perfect. It fully represents the cacophony that is Belgium. your box is ticked here buddy

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Due to a delay in the production chain at Airbus factory, the 1st a320neo is expected in August, 2nd and 3rd in december. It will not change anything for the summer production as there will be some phase out which will be comes at a later stage. I would not pin myself to August to be honest. I have...

Re: Air Belgium in 2023
Payload available (fuel, passengers, cargo etc) for each type would be about ... Johannesburg is a HOT AND HIGH airport. Even the A359 from Delta struggles to do the ATL-JNB route. It makes it barely. Note how well the 346 and 343 are performing out of JNB. There is a reason why SAA had so many. Yo...

Re: Air Belgium in 2023
To be honest, the only route I could see them succeed as a passenger airline is Kinshasa. But will never happend unless they got traffic right. All the rest is deem to fait without right partner. It’s time for Air Belgium to stop their PAX operation and focus on cargo. If not they will be forced to...
