Everybody? I'd like to have a few example, please That's quite a strong affirmation to question the legitimity of a strike. My Dear, We all have more stress, more pressure, more hassle, more competition on the job, so yes we work harder. And look at the end of the month what you keep. Compare to 4 ...

Actually, my dear Jan, it should be on 15th May, the strike. Because it seems you don't care that the holiday from others is spoiled: as long as you're not a victim of the strike, it's OK. Imagine you go to the airport on 15th May, and there are no SN-flights. Tell me, what will you do? The unions ...

If there is 1 economic sector in which national interests should not play a role, it is the airline industry. We must get rid of this silly idea that every country in Europe should have its own airline, that is simply something that will disappear in the not too distant future. I do not care which a...

Don't forget that contrary to 2001 when aviation wordwide was in a slump and pilots were not in high demand (quite on the contrary), 2007 sees aviation BOOMING like crazy and pilots are much needed... If the grass is so green on the other side, what are you waiting for to go ?? Go quickly, and stop...

My mistake... 200h per year of course An average pilot will lose from 200 to 400€ a month with the merge, so Management proposed to increase the perdiems with 1€ / hour An average pilot who was flying 60h a month will have to fly at least 75h to get the same amount Well NOT even! We will indeed loo...

Cagliari, Palermo, Catania, Faro,... this are purely touristic destinations where an airline like SN does not belong. There are so many business centers where they should concentrate on. I never understood how they started and soon stopped again Glasgow. Are there no preliminary studies done ? Then ...

Troubles at Brussels Airlines Part II [double topic]
As a frequent flyer and an occasional customer of BruAir I promise you that I will never never fly this airline again in case they strike. Once the Highspeed trains to Amsterdam & Frankfurt will be fully operational, I will also be happy to say adieu to Bru Airport. This total lack of considerat...

The above comments by Beaucaire and sn-remember are so correct. Is there one other country in this part of Europe with such a lack of vision, lack of leadership, lack of national pride as Belgium. No public or semi- public company in Belgium can withstand a comparison with its counterpart in another...

This man is a complete disaster. At TNT they are still drinking champagne after so many years as they really cannot believe how easy it was to get almost everything they wanted from the Walloon government. (= J.H.) Liege Airport is a Jewel which is completely mismanaged. Complete lack of management....

TAC's decision would be wise. Indeed BRU is too expensive, does not offer appropriate services to airlines, passenger and shopkeepers. The articler does not mention the possible noise-fines they may have d Either you have a fantastic exclusive product and you get a premium, or you have a mediocre on...

DannyVDB, I suppose that the big infrastructure at BRU is built with the idea to have a return on investment, to create jobs, generate business. Well, it clearly does not work. Except a few hours in the morning and in the evening, there is NO activity , only emptiness; The shopkeepers complain, shop...

BRU is a stagnant market. No efforts are done to attract tourists. It is a market for business people, eurocrats,.. Some traffic in the morning and in the evening. That's it. No world class airlines like SQ, CX, EK, JL, .. (Some AA, DL,..) 9W,Etihad come for the easy slots, to start up some lines......

Poor results. Still progress but so slow. BRU has the perfect lay-out AND potential to be an important intra-Schengen and Schengen-NonSchengen hub. But there is a weak home-carrier, no long term vision,... My guess: Etihad, Ethiopian, Hainan, US Airways will be gone within 2 years. SN is losing grou...

The main objective should be to fill Pier B with more flights and destinations. Now there is only some activity in the morning. An easy an short transfer from B to A and vise versa is perfectly possible by (re-)organizing the interim remote lounge at B, and building similar lounge at A. Now there is...
