Grounded for peeing on plane

A GROUP of golfers were banned for life by an airline after one was accused of peeing on the seat in front. Fifteen pals flew with easyJet to play in Portugal but after the plane landed, disgusted airline staff found someone had urinated in a seat pocket. When the golfers returned to Faro airport th...

The possoble merger between VEX and SN could open opportunities for EasyJet in Brussels. EZY now has a gentlemens agreement with VEX not to compete on the brussels market. I guess this agreement will be reviewed once Virgin merges with a traditional carrier.

Spotting within Stansted terminal

Does anyone know a nice place to watch planes land or take off within the Stansted building? If yes, is this accessible to all passengers?

When I booked this trip I was very surprised to see that Ryanair is currently the only carrier with direct flights from Belgium to Glasgow. Starnge, as Glasgow is a town with more than 500.000 inhabitants.
If I am not wrong Sabena used to have 4 or 5 daily flights to this destination!

Its IS a beautiful aircraft. Once you enter the cabin, the rear of the aircraft really seems very far away. One big tunnel.

For me the SAS-livery is not good. Due to the light grey body colour, the planes look dirty and not cleaned!

BRU-LHR and LHR-GLA with BMI

Below a flight report of my latest trip to Glasgow. This is about the onward journey, the return report will follow later. For the first leg of our trip on 26/2, we were booked on BMI-flight BD 140, which was supposed to leave Brussels at 7h30. As we first had to pick up our tickets, we were at the ...

Bob, Shannon is known to increase landing rights after a certain route is more than x years old (I don't exactly know how long). This is also the reason why Ryanair have cut their Hahn-Shannon services from 7 to 1 per week. And about Skavsta: I wonder how this route can ever be profitable with only ...

I am sure the only reason Ryanair is shutting down its London-Charleroi service is because the route is simply not profitable. The planes might have been full, but the average fare on the route was on my impression always very low.

Well, there's much more to tell about how Ryanair is so cheap. A very interesting article can be found on www.demorgen.be.
It was written on 19/05/2001 by Douglas De Coninck. The title is "Het jolige geheim van gratis vliegen".

Small local airports also offer the advantage of quick turn-around times. 25 minutes instead of 50 minutes for bigger airports. Count these minutes together and you can make an extra round-trip per day. Ryanair does not offer free food on board, so they don't have to pay for food. But it also means ...
