Excluding Israelis airlines, among biggest airlines only Air France, FlyDubai, Etihad still flying to TLV but AF flights make a stop at Athens on the return flight from TLV to CDG. Re: Brussels Airlines in 2023
Contrary to what we think, Brussels Airlines doesn't take advantage and won't probably take advantages of Air France troubles in West Africa. To Ouagadougou the airline doesn't take trafic from Air France. Worst, the airline is loosing trafic to OUA (-7% since the troubles started in August) and the...

Re: South African Airways emerging from "Business Rescue"
South African Airways resumes its Johannesburg Abidjan route from 14NOV23. This route was previously served via Accra in 2010s with A330. It was already a resuming because if i m right this route was served early 2000s with SAA B767-200ER. This time SAA will compete with Air Cote d'Ivoire which oper...

I would say 50 / 50. Both have premium eco. I know SkyTraxx has not good reputation among Avgeeks (but not outside Avgeeks community), but both airlines are 3 stars SkyTrax and RwandAir is ranked 90th and Brussels Airlines 100th, in the 2023 SkyTrax Ranking. https://www.worldairlineawards.com/worlds...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2023
And last but not least look at the destinations SN is flying : to what extend technical problems are not caused by the reality that in sub Saharan Africa you might not have the local skills, spare parts available and generally the infrastructure for state of the art aircraft? In those markets often...

And the circus continues...FIH BRU canceled / BRU IAD canceled. Someone to give me just one good reason to fly "SN" when there is an advertising campaign for New York for €399...You can't recommend SN to anyone. You have to look for more and especially fly from elsewhere...CDG for example...

Re: D R Congo creates an airline with Air France-KLM: Congo Airways
Unfortunately, Congo is not alone in this case. And the Western carriers are probably less impacted than Africans carriers. The list of failed partnership between Africans airlines is quite huge if we look since 2000s and i have probably forgotten: Air Senegal International- Royal Air Maroc Royal Ai...

If, in general, there are few pax to Luanda, would it not be worthwhile considering the A321XLR to fly this route nonstop ? As you will see in the link below, it is possible to offer wide-body business class, Premium econony and standard economy. https://aircraft.airbus.com/en/aircraft/airspace-cab...

30 pax per flight to Luanda. it's very very low. I hope it's not the average load factor during the year, because i wonder how the airline can be profitable on this route (excluding the tag with Kinshasa) ? Huge demand in biz class and for cargo ? The airline aims to minimise fuel consumption and cr...
