Re: Boeing 787 news
If Boeing do not get permission to fly their " fixed" 787 (this time with the source of the battery problem understood and the chance of battery fire/overheating brought to the levels of more conventional aviation batteries), what are the chances of Boeing 787s still being grounded and at ...

Re: Boeing 787 and 748 news
I have the impression that Boeing and their Unions are playing their silly " end of year" games again, if this link is correct. http://news.airwise.com/story/view/1353585811.html

Re: Boeing 787 and 748 news
I've seen that Boeing have taken off the 787 CEO and replaced him with the 777 CEO. Let us hope that he can get more birds flying without so many rework delays

Re: Largest Ever Aircraft Acquisition in Europe: 222 aircraf
Sorry, should have said single-aisle ipo twin-aisle  . Interesting points on core of core of 737MAX engines. Would a more forward protuding engine-mount help? Will the MAx's be made in Seattle or the new factory down south? With Presidential elections on the near horizon, there will be a lotta...

Re: Largest Ever Aircraft Acquisition in Europe: 222 aircraf
HTF is Boeing going to build the Max on time? After the debacle of the 787 they have to totally change their manufacturing procedures. I have read that nearly every 787 needs reworking before delivery. Why? Were the manufacturing standards/specifications by Boeing and their subcontractors so bad? No...

Re: More 787 woes?
Found more data on the problems. It seems that Boeing has been "economic with the truth" on their problems. I ask myself ' how do you get the wrinkles out without affecting the structural integrity of the barrels?" By Jon Ostrower on August 13, 2009 9:15 PM | Permalink | Comments (48)...

More 787 woes?
Just read this: August 14, 2009 Boeing said on Friday an Italian supplier stopped production in June on two sections of its long-delayed 787 Dreamliner after structural flaws were found on fuselages. Alenia Aeronautica halted production because of wrinkles in the fuselage skin caused by flaws in sub...
