The aircraft in nldogberts report is fairly narrow and square, has a T-tail and has winglets!!! Now, those are the characteristics you described as being from a Beach 1900, right? Then why are you saying its a Saab 340? Did you get enough sleep last night? Just kidding offcourse!  Sorry...

:?: Have any of you A380 knockers bothered to work out the maximum number of passengers that can be carried from the existing 134 passenger versions sold and done a similar sum for the 787. It is after all a question of bums on seats, and the comparison is interesting. I don't understand what you a...

Wow! You guys need to study up on jour props. Just kidding ;) The aircraft is a Saab 340. Beech 1900Ds are much more narrow and square. 1900Ds also have winglets and a T-tail, which Saab 340s don't have. Or we might drink a soda or beer out of it.

Sad to see another death of a Super 80. I have flown on many DC-9s and MD-80s and always found these to be excelent aircraft.

There is no reason the federal government should pay for this. Local governments operate the American airports and they are the ones who should pay for the A380 upgrades. I think this is more beneficial for the community than playing war all over the world with your tax money in countries that Ameri...

Nice to read your trip report. Glad to hear you had a good experience with Northwest.
She also told me she heard about the rumour of NW and DL forming a partnership.
Northwest and Delta already have a partnership. Both airlines are in the SkyTeam Alliance and code-share on routes system-wide.

I was wondering what all of your favorite songs were from the past ten years. I have compiled a list of mine. I did some research to make sure I had all of the years correct. Year/Artist/Title 2005 KT Tunstall “Black Horse & the Cherry Tree” 2004 Kelly Clarkson “Walk Away” 2003 Maroon 5 “This Lo...

Thanks for all of the replies! When Fokker shut down a few years ago I remember I had some bad feelings. They could most probably have successfully competed with Embraer on the juicy regional jet market. I agree with that. I think that updated versions of the F-100 and F-70 would be popular. Updated...

Back on topic, how high are the 787 windows located? Will I be able to look out and see the horizon and sky without any andvanced yoga? I believe that Boeing said on their website that the windows were going to be positioned higher on the 787, so that all passengers would be able to see the horizon.
